Channel after channel I flip through is nothing but people falling out of there clothes! When I was at the beach I seen some of the most seeing and revealing everything clothes in my life. No modesty and no respect for there bodies. I even seen people laying on there stomachs with there bikini top off and if they had to go somewhere quick they would have been in trouble..lol!! I even saw a man tie back up a woman's top after she was finished sun tanning and I know they were not married. What has happened in this world? Why do people not have any respect for there own bodies that God created for them. What happened to the time when women and men covered themselves up and revealed very little and looked respectful? To make it worse why are some of these people dressing and acting so wild parents of children? What has happen to a Godly heritage in America? Where you cover up and have some respect for God and yourself. It only seems to be getting worse!! In the bible in the book of Titus chapter 2 it tells us how women and men are suppose to behave!
2 That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3 The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
It seems all people want to do anymore is party and drink and cuss. So I ask myself what has happened to all the godly people and heritage that this country once had? We need to get back to a time where parents are raising children to be modest and have a Godly background and some respect for themselves!
Titus 2:12 "Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world"
I think if the whole world went back to God and have some modesty and respect for God,it would be a better place!!

I also believe that alot of it has to do with this casual attitude everyone carries around with them. Casual about clothing, life, friendship.

Our culture has exchanged beautiful,
modest, feminine loveliness for a shallow, provocative and ugly version of femininity!! It is sad.... but we can pray that we can be lights to a dark world showing them what true, beautiful femininity is like with Christ as our King!!!!

As Kay Arthur puts it, society is going off a cliff morally. She is my favorite Bible teacher and right on target, as are you! :) Unfortunately, it is only going to get worse until Christ comes back for His own. With our current administration in place, can there e much hope for America apart from Christ and the righteous judgement of God? I think not!
The saddest part is modesty is hard to come by..REALLY hard to come by, in this society, even Christian girls don't always dress modest..I am not trying to start a fire here, but even christian girls don't always act modest..majority of Christian girls do act modest and dress modest, but sometimes in church i see people dress way too revealing. Not like at the beach though LOL
it's sad though, but we have to remember that verse though that God doesn't judge us by our outside adornment or braided hair or jewelry BUT by our hearts before HIM.
i will say i am not perfect. But i do try to show Christ's love through how i walk, talk and dress.
And i hope i make our DADDY proud :))
it's true what Judy said this world is only about to get worse esp. with our current administration...sadly this world's standards and this society reminds me of Saddam and Gemmorah time...am i the only one that sees the comparisons??
The unchastity, the immorality, makes me want to HURL!
And it makes me sad that when i was in New Orleans trying to serve, we had to avoid Burbon Street, the red light district..because we didn't want our young babes in the group to see that.....sad that we have to avoid some streets!!
ahhh sadam and gemorrah times we are in...BUT Through Christ, everything good and wholesome will be saved...and before we know it we'll see each other in the new Jerusalem!!
